サビらしきパートの悠然としたギターがいかにもmonarchという感じで良い。スローテンポの引きずるようなリフは味があるし、Gソロは相変わらず個性的。

急激かつ頻繁にされるテンポチェンジを軸とした多彩な構成を、流れるように聴かせてくれる。うっすらとホリフィックなリフやマーチのようなGソロパートが良い。

Dreams of the Carrion Kind
過小評価も甚だしいジェイムズ・マーフィーの初のリーダー・バンド。唯一の作品。
疾走感と激しい曲展開に重点を置いた作りが施されたデス・メタル色が強い。
リフ・ワークこそ暴力的だが、時折聴けるメロディ・センスは独創的で傑出している。
兎に角、素晴らしいギタリストであります。

流麗なギターソロが実にカッコイイです!!。ギターのJAMESは以前は、DEATHのチャックと一緒にやってた事が有りましたが、彼もまた素晴らしいテクニックの持ち主です。どこに行ったのかなぁ?

デス・メタル界の天才ギタリストの一人、ジェイムズ・マーフィー率いるバンドの1st。1993年作。一般的にDEATHあるいはチャックの方が知名度が高く、評価されているが、何故このDISINCARNATE(ジャイムズ)は評価されないままだったのだろうか?不思議ですな。この作品は特に、マイケルアモット入りのCARCASS、DEATHの後期あたりが好きな人、ちょっと聞いて見てよ!
