賛否両論の渦を巻き起こした(否が多い?)「Crimson」の続編。これまたダンスワノ氏が全部一人でやってるらしいです。
今回はトラックが小分けにされてまして前作(Crimson)よりは聴きやすいんじゃないかと。まぁ当然の如く43分44トラック全部で1曲ですが。
それにしてもメロディが凄い作品です。これまた賛否両論のアルバムでしょうが叙情哀愁メロディの充実度はホントに凄いです。前作がハマった人は買いましょう。ギターのメロディに悶絶しますがKeyもメッチャ良い。緩急自在(ちょっと強引なとこもあるが)の展開で自分は飽きずに一気に聴けました。
この人声も良いしほんと多才なお人だ。

一応のカテゴライズをすると、シンフォニック・プログレデスという感じ。
INFERNALが硬派な作品だった反動か、このCRIMSONⅡは超メロいアルバムに。
キラデスまでいかないくらいのシンフォニックさで、GとKeyが前に出てます。
メロディーは良質。そして繰り返しのパートが一回も無いんじゃないかっていうくらいに展開しまくります。

　７　：　３　　ぐらいのアルバム。

ダン・スウォノ作品の中でもけっこう好きな部類に入る。
