確かにあんたらはシンフォニック路線だがそこまでやるか!? ってぐらいド派手にやっちゃった名曲。不穏にしてメロディアスなオーケストラパートが、最終戦争のテーマに相応しいです。
そして、確かに曲からしてもPVからしても『スター・ウォーズ』を彷彿させますが、これじゃシスが全面勝利しちゃうだろ……ってぐらい邪悪でもあります。

シンフォニックデスなのでスターウォーズの場面が頭に思い浮かびます。
巨大なコロニーの中で戦うダースベイダーとジェダイ騎士。
その外では巨大宇宙戦艦やら人口衛星やらミニロボットやら戦闘機やらなんやら入り乱れて激しい銃撃戦。
弾幕の雨霰 そんな曲。

個人的にDIMMUに期待しているのはこういう曲。
…もっとも、この曲はその「期待」を何倍にもして返すような名曲ですが。こういうと失礼かもしれませんが、邪悪さやブルータリティを極めたバンドって他にもいるし、DIMMUにはこういうハイクオリティでドラマティックな路線の曲を演ってほしいな。折角Simenみたいな良いヴォーカリストがいるんだし、それを活用しないのは宝の持ち腐れだと思います。

前作のKINGS OF THE CARNIVAL CREATIONと同じぐらい好きな名曲です。プロモは確かにかなり良い出来だが、個人的に大不満があります。この曲の個人的に一番好きな瞬間をプロモでは省略されました。あの一瞬の静寂がこの壮大の曲に不可欠なパーツだと思うけどね。

やはりこの曲だけ群を抜いてますね、壮大さもメロディも。
確かにスターウォーズって感じ(笑)
ブラックメタルの名曲群はこのサイト見てると結構見つかるけど、どれも方向性が違ってて良い。
この曲はその中でもツボでした。
